Today we cruised from Port Townsend, WA to Victoria, British Columbia. Crossing the Strait of Juan de Fuca early today went well. Calm winds and smooth seas. Just the way we like it. Victoria is as beautiful as ever. Blue sky and sunshine today. We are at the Causeway Marina directly in front of the Empress Hotel and right in the heart of the city. We will be here for one week. We are laying over extra days because of Mr. James Taylor. More on that later. More photos coming soon.
What a great place to hang out for a few days! Say hello to James for me 🙂
We are going to take a fast ferry back to Seattle on Saturday to see James Taylor in concert. Then another ferry on Sunday back to Victoria. I’ve never seen him and I am really looking forward to it.
there is a young cowboy. who lives on the range…”
Is James the ONLY reason your holding position in Victoria?!?!
Actually, James Taylor is in concert May 31st in Seattle and he is half of the reason we are holding in Victoria. We will go to Seattle on Saturday to see James and then return to Victoria on Sunday. The other half of the reason we are holding in Victoria is to meet up with our friend Alan who will join us in Victoria on Sunday and then head North with us for two weeks. With a little luck we will be in Port Hardy, BC by Friday the 13th. We are really looking forward to the next couple of weeks with Alan on board.
